粉红色粉末。一种鉴别培养基。由牛肉膏、酵母膏、蛋白胨、 胨、葡萄糖、乳糖、蔗糖、硫酸亚铁、氯化钠、硫代硫酸钠、酚红、琼脂等配制而成。易吸湿。加水煮沸溶化后，成橘红色半透明液体，pH约7.5，冷至45℃开始凝固。 称取本品63.4g，加入蒸馏水或去离子水1L，搅拌加热煮沸至完全溶解，分装试管，121℃高压灭菌15min，放置高层斜面。Suspend 63.4g in 1L of distilled or deionized water.Heat with frequent agitation and boil to completely dissolve the powder.Distribute into tubes.Autocalave at 121℃ for 15minutes.Cool in slanted position with deep butts.
